Which Gn Is This?

So your saying that the two new pics I've uploaded are both Bn

no, the one on the left is a gold nugget the one on the right is a BN.

but the one on the left is not your fish

I know its not my fish.....but it looks identical

there is absoloutely no yellow in the fish on the right, perhaps?

how much did you pay for yours?

The right is a Bn and the left is gn....the left is identical to mine..

so yours has a distinctive yellow stripe across the top & back fins? Because your picture (although tinted blue) does not suggest that and very much appears to be a bristlenose.

Yes, it had yellow tips and dots on its body

but your photo shows a fish with translucent (see through) tips to both fins. A GN has solid black fins with yellow edges. Using the links Mike has posted, here are two pictures that show the differences clearly.

A BN - with very similar fins to yours

A GN - with solid black fins & yellow tips - which your fish does not show

play with your camera and remove the blue setting - I'm sure it's possible.
