I voted "oddball" - the octopus. It has the intelligence of a housecat and is a problem-solver.

Cichlids and Predators, large species of each show high levels of intelligence.

no dought they're intelligent but , is that a fish ?

cichlids get my vote convicts and jewels.

I took a null vote but I agree with Ryan that predators are very intelligent. More than ne is supposed to be More than one.

definitely the cichlids i can hand feed one of mine live food and he just hangs out in my hand if thats not smart i dont know wha is..

I think all cichlids are very smart. My Apisto seems to be a very quick learner, and is very good at avoiding being caught. I tried to scare him into the net with my hand; soon he learned that my hand was nothing to be afraid of and avoided the net.

Oscars get my vote for the smartest aquarium fish, but I have heard some impressive things about octopus intelligence before (and in this thread), so I didn't vote.

Oscars! (I had one trained to jump out of the water and take food from my hand...)
