Supermarkets and grocery stores usually carry it.
not in the uk... maybe i'm not looking hard enough
i'm just wondering where you get ammonia to do a fishless cycle with?
You do not want ammonia in a tank with fish, however, if you are trying to cycle a tank without fish, you need to supply ammonia to your growing bacteria colonies so they are large enough to take over when the fish are installed.i thought amonia is the thing you DON"T want, and the main reason to cycle...
i could be wrong tho...

The best one to get is Jeyes, it is much cheaper than the the stuff you get from your LFS and it's more concentrated so you need less.
Two warnings, don't sniff it, and I know by me saying that you will want to sniff it even more, but honestly don't do it.
Secondly, don't just buy any old household Ammonia, it needs to be pure and scented.
Stick with Jeyes and you will be safe, as said previously Boots, Robert Dyers etc.
