MY favourite Club, "Jilly's Rockworld"

Picadilly gardens, as it used to be before the filled it in 4 years ago (Bar stewards!!!) We used to hang out here on a saturday morning when we got out of Rockworld.

I rest my case

I hate that stupid roundabout. It holds me up every morning on the way to work and often makes me late. And then you get some joker on the way home who's gonna sit there for ten minutes

You know how it is you're on the way home and have a clear roundabout and 10 minutes to kill

That's the thing with this town. In a lot of newspapers you get headlines like:

"Firework factory explodes" and "man goes on rampage with minigun"

In our newspaper you get headlines like:

"Fence blows down in garden"

............and then to top it off you get the locals taking snaps of roundabouts

I live in Perth, Western Australia

I live on the outskirts of Chesterfield in Derbyshire famous for the Crooked Spire

it's big outdoor markets

and the birthplace in 1688 of the revolution to overthrow King James II and replace him with William of Orange

I'm a few mins from Chatsworth House

Bakewell and Buxton, so scenery is good if weather is pants.

Link, I've been to Kettering and its not that bad, been to far worse places.

The fairy tale has it that a virgin was getting married at the church, and The Spire, never having seen a virgin bride before, leaned over to have a closer look .

Should the event ever happen again, The Spire will think it commonplace and straighten up .

Old Herttoniemi (part of Helsinki), place where I live (in 1827)
Newer Herttoniemi (in 1980) It was first "oil-harbour area") Nowadays this place is covered by houses and other buidings...

I live in Plymouth

This is the famous Plymouth Hoe (where all the outdoor festivals are held as well as the national fireworks championships and world powerboating)

This is a closer look at the Citadel

There is around 70 forts and batteries around the Plymouth area as well as numerous castles and monuments so plenty to see

Oh and there's the National Marine Aquarium too Link
