Where Did The Faq And Species Index Go?

Both FAQ and the Species index have been moved from the top of the forum to a place way down below the scientific section. If you want to research your new fish, something I often want to do, you will need to scroll down to it. As recently as today, I have had to move several posts out of those sections to the places where they belong. Because new members would stumble across those sections while looking for the right place to post, they would almost inevitably post there. Since posts in the sections are set up to be visible to MODs only, until approved, the posts would be lost until one of us happened along to move them to a better place.
The idea is that those sections are reserved as resource centers for the membership, so questions or off the cuff comments there are not really appropriate. Instead, we have regular sections of the forum where similar subjects are dealt with by members and MODs on a regular basis. By moving the sections down within the forum listing, we hope to get less dead end postings by new members.
I appreciate that old members who are accustomed to the way the forum is organized and may find a need to adjust their own techniques to deal with the new location, as I will. If we are to move forward and make the forum easier to use overall, the change is really needed. Please bear with the MOD team as we try to improve the usefulness of this, our forum.
