i was just curious, where everybody keeps them? do they like it quiet and boring, or do they like to watch people and everyday things?

one 1/2-gallon Marina Betta Kit
one 1/2-gallon Hospital Tank
two Dual Betta Hexes (divided)
three 1/4-gallon Mini-Habitat
Living room: 6
one 2.5-gallon (divided 3-way)
one 1-gallon Penn Plax Tank
two 1/4-gallon Penn Plax Tanks
Near the dining room: 3
one 1/2-gallon Marina Betta Kit

Hi fcbarrelracer 
I only have 2 bettas and they are both in my living room. I don't think they pay much attention to me, though. Both of them are in tanks with many other fish and they keep busy making sure no one gets out of line!
Ruby lives in a 20 gallon long with a big assortment of cory cats and (temporarily) 2 big weather loaches.
Starbright lived in a 20 gallon with 8 corys until a few hours ago. Right now he is temporarily housed in my 55 gallon community tank.

My current two betta's are in my bedroom, one on my desk next to my computer and one next to my telly.
I'm getting some more after Christmas, but am having trouble working out where to put them...!

Jo,may I suggest ....anywhere that's sturdy and warm
Mine are all over the house. No one is in a boring spot where they can't see. I have a shelf that houses 12 of them in my living room,they have the view of the 120 gallon tank and the entire room plus their shelf is decorated with colorful Christmas lights so...it's kinda like they're my Vegas bettas
3 on top of my entertainment center...also with lights and a living room view.
3 on an end table...they get to watch the l.room AND the dining room
3 on my desk...they see everything
5 in my dining room..they watch the 42 gallon tank and the people traffic that goes by every few minutes
6 in my kitchen...they get to watch me cook and they really have the best seats in the house , they get to see everybody who comes in for a water change
4 in my bedroom on my dresser...their life is a little hum drum but they get their fair share of "mommy lovin'" ....I sit in there and watch the fish in my 29 feed nightly so the bedroom bettas eat like kings/queens since they always get the leftovers.

hmmmm, not so easy, i have accumulated to much Junk!!
I'm sure that I can find space for one in the kitchen, unfortunately my walls aren't really strong enough to hold shelves full of tanks, otherwise that'd be perfect...think that I'm going to build myself a little unit that has a special betta shelf to go above my 24g!

can never get away from the prying eyes of fish ay wuv?! i keep my four in the warmest room in the house, the living room, since the tanks are too small for heaters. i keep two of them in these little one gal wedge shaped tanks and the other two are currently sharing a dual hex (will be separating after the holidays when i have a new tank set up), and i keep them all together on a bookshelf (they act as bookend for my classics and my harry potters ), where i can see them from the couch, but the dog can't get at them (the cat ignores the fish, the dog attempts to head-butt teh tanks and eat the fish 
). the one seems to watch me from the shelf but the others just live in their own little worlds where i only exist when i come up to the shelf to feed them.

I keep mine in the warmest room of the house... my room! With the exception of Rojo, he's in my brothers room because it "wasn't fair" and he "wanted one too," but I'm the one who takes care of him... 
I'm gonna steal him back... lol sorry, I'll complain somewhere else now.
