i am a united stater, from the crazy upper regions of NY. no not the city!

ALSO from UPSTATE NY....NOT THE CITY

I hate to break this to you guys, but you aren't "UPSTATE". Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, etc is UPSTATE. Compared to us, you live in the city. Don't get me wrong, I've been to both of your cities and they are great but really not upstate.

dont get ME wrong i completely agree with you...but folks from down state consider this WAYYYY up north when there is plenty of north left and ANYTHING above Rockland/Westchester is considered upstate. even dutchess county which is about 40 mins from the city! Rochester Bufalo Syracuse is WESTERN NY...they dont really fall into the "upstate" category

Yeah, I know. And I realize what you guys are saying, but.... Buffalo is right on the border. If that's the Buffalo you're talking about, of course.... Shouldn't it be upstate....? It's where I always cross into when I go into the US, but, then again, my parents DO always use the Niagara Falls crossing (which means, like, 4 hours of driving , sooooo.... Yeah. :3
