When Was Chat Added?

September last year... If memory serves..... (in the current format).... ... sorry.. I meant 2012.....

So, you take Ludwig's word over mine?

He (and you) could very well be right.  Remembering things like that is not my strong suit.

If you read what Ludwig wrote, you will note the phrase "in the current format". The current chat was indeed started around September 2012, prior to that we used a different chatroom facility.

I've been on the forum since 2010, there has been a chat facility available ever since I have been here.

Chat was installed on September 5th, 2012 AL2000 became a member on September 8th, 2012 if that helps for whatever silliness is going on.

The general rules state: 60 posts are needed to access chat.

The chat room is purely a bonus for long term members. You can't access it until you've made 60 posts.

Any questions you may have are best asked on the forum, as you'll get better answers (the people in the chat room might not be the most knowledgeable for your particular problem!).

We also, very much, want to see the forum a resource that's open everyone; active members, lurkers or just casual browsers, and having questions posed and answers given in the chat room defeats that objective.
