My baby fry are 4 days old and are begging to fall from the nest and swim a bit. They swim some then sink.then swim again.Dad puts them back in the nest as soon as he sees them.
Should I let him do this? If so for how long?
Or should I take him out and let the babies fall and swim?

Common practice - at least in the Western hemisphere  - is to take the father out when the babies become 'free swimming'- that is, when they are no longer weighed down by their egg sacs. I know I recommended in your spawn thread that you take the father out, but that was because the way you had phrased swimming made it sound to me as if the father was chasing them all over the tank. If he is picking them up off the bottom, he's just being a good dad

Ok so leave him a few more days?

That would be the conclusion I was driving at, yes. How much research did you do before you went into this spawn? It really isn't that hard to find out when to take the father out- pretty much any half-decent book or webpage on betta breeding should have told you that. I recommend you take a good long look at the links pinned to the top of the forum- you should be able to find out most everything else you'll need to know there.
