when i put my fish in my tank this cloudy stuff came out with the fishys and it made my tank all cloudy what do i do?

do you think it it just from the tank at the lps or somethin eles

did you add the bag water with the fish? cause that is a big no no I have a flower pot nextto my tank and I dump all my bag water into it It keeps me from buying to many fish at once. when the water evaporates I get to add a new fish.

 ya i did oopps
since you have a puffer fish i thought i would ask are they hard take care of or are they just a pain?

He is easy enought to take care ofbecause I have fast fish with short fins but he hasn't been compeeting well for food so I need to go get some more snails for him to eat. he is definitly my best fish and Im franticaly looking for a bigger tank for a cheap prisce so I can get another puffer.

when you put a new fish in leave it in the water so the water in the bag is the same tem then net the fish and put it in that way.
Never put the water from the bag in.

 i put all the water in and the fish  what can that do to my tank or is it just nothin

iv always just added the water with the fish an have never had any p[roblems from it..... not even infections of any kind.... but then again i can trust my lfs

can u? :/

no idea where ur cloudy water came from -_-

by including the water from your LFS you increase the chances of introducing a disease to your tank plus it can affect your water chemistry as well.

Make sure before you get a puffer that you know it will go with your current set-up. It always makes me nervous when people have puffs in with other fish. All might be fine and dandy now, but when they get older it may not. There are plenty of other fish out there that you can get to eat snails, you should look into those as well.

As far as the water from the lfs...it could have diseases in it. It could have different parameters. Just be sure to not add it anymore.

Adding the water form the LFS bag is really up to whether you trust your lfs. Today one tank at my LFS had ICK :( But I had to rescue a glowlight from another tank as it was on its own, I never personally add LFS water.

I try not to use water from my LFS. I believe they keep good fish, but you can never take chances. Also consider that if ONE tank at your store has ick, it could potentially infect all tanks. Typically all of their tanks are connected in some way! My 2 cents..

Yer thats exactly what I thought :( I've treated my tanks with luiquisil today aswell and there was no illness in that tank today so hopefully all should be ok :/

my lfs has always had a good track record i know one of them in there personaly and she would defo tell me if they have any infections same as when i first started into it she told me for some reason a whole tank of mollies had died an they had no idea what had happened (still dont to this day and this was like over a yr ago)

they wouldnt let anyone buy any fish from the store untill they could try an find out what was goin on (as there tanks like many other stores are chain linked) it nealy sent them bust, but at the end of the day they had spent alot of time an effort gettin their store a good name and if ppl were gonna buy fish that were just gonna die within a couple of days then that could damage them. luckily for them they dont only sell just fish they sell reptiles and lights an ect what ur normal lfs sells so it kept them afloat for a while..

now another lfs that i only went to once i wouldnt even put their fish in my house never mind the water in my tank always havin bad reports from ppl who have gone there to buy one or two fish to have there tanks wiped out.

i totaly trust my lfs  110% they have never steared me wrong
