I wouldn't push it. If they had you sign an NDA, they're understandably serious about protecting their processes in a very competitive business. Even writing about it, let alone photo's, could cost your employment or worse (like a breach of contract lawsuit)! The world we live in.

Yeah I am in agreement. Plus a partnership is on the table if I work really hard and my skills increase productivity, so I'm really not trying to screw that up.
Definitely not the first non-disclosure agreement I've signed but this is the smallest company I've worked for and from what I've gathered, some of our techniques are really a lot better than our competitors.
On a more positive note, within a year I should have mastered what we are doing and I think it's well within my rights to answer personal questions about people's personal clownfish
