What’s wrong with my Betta?

Hi I’m panicked here I do t know what’s wrong with my Betta I have him 8 days fed him the other day and he’s now swollen is it just constipation or something worse, he doesn’t look great, temp 25.6 c and all water parimeters seem to be ok, pic attached

Yes cycled it fishless for a month before adding him to a 125 litre tank I have 6 Julii Corys too they all look perfect

What did you feed him, when, and how much?

Fluval big bites tropical formula 0.25 - 1 mm size and probably about 6-8 of them tank temp is 25.6 degrees Celsius

What did you feed him, when, and how much?

I would fast him for next 24 hours and see if bloating goes down. After 24 hrs you can feed him a blanched, peeled pea to help with constipation. Let us know if that helps

Fed JD my Betta a pea as u advised yesterday and everything seems back to normal again thanks for ur help ??

Do his fin edges look tattered? I can’t tell if he has fin rot, because of his clear fins.

I would feed 1/4 of a pea to reduce bloating.

I gave him a 1/4 pea yesterday and he went to toilet no longer bloated. I’ve attached a pic of his fins he looks the same as when I got him but it’s my 1st time with an aquarium so I’ve no experience, appreciate any feedback

Ok, not fin rot. The clear on the ends of his tail made me think he had it.

That’s great he’s not bloated any more! I would reduce feeding for the next few days.
