What's The Trick?

I load my photos over to Photobucket .... like I assume the most of us do, and then, I copy IMG files from there to a thread or post over here at TFF...,(like I assume the most of us do), but... my photos are allways much smaller than the rest of the photos...

What am I doing wrong... How can I also upload such nice sized photos???

what size do you save em in? Photobucket will only upload the size they are saved on your PC. I always save mine in 'web small' in the 're size' you pics part of office picture manager.

Make sure you are not copying the thumbnail IMG code, you need just the plain IMG code

This is the size of all of my photos on this forum... I'd like to have them the size of the pics posted above by Ianho....

are you sure your saving them in 800 x 600 pixels as yours are coming up at 320 x 240 pixels.

What have you got ticked in the photobucket options?

click on the 'share' and then click on 'get link code'

the first three boxes should be ticked but not the fourth, which is thumbnail, and then the fifth should be ticked

OMG... Now I've done it!!... I started closing all sorts of toolbars & now completely lost 'em.... How do I get back to the Flie... Edit..... View.... etc. toolbars at the top of the screen??... I'm doomed!

Testing - i have copied your photo on to my photobucket account, lets see what happens - we should at least then know if it is the photo or photobucket settings

ps I checked your code as well, you are not using the thumbnail code where it decreases photo size to 20%

looks like it is the way you are saving your photos on your pc - just had another thought, be back in a minute.......

You are somehow compressing your photos down to:

320x240
66.8 kb

My photos are
Dimension 1600x1200
Ave size 523 kb

So, take a look at where you are first putting them on your pc and see if you have the options set to 'save in' 320x240 set instead of 1600x1200
