in the next few months il be in the position to be able to afford a new tank to add to the Aquaone Aquastart 350 i have and i jus wondered if any of you guys could answer a few questions a have,

first of all, the two aquariums which have caught my eye were the Aquaone 500 (65l) or the Aquaone AR620 (90l).

the 500 has an under gravel filtration system whilst the 620 has the wet and dry trickle system, the the under gravel system i am used to i have no idea about the trickle one, could anyone inform me of the pros and cons and just generall if its a better system?

the difference in price is around £60 and for an extra 25 litres im not sure whether its worth it.

any help would be very much appreciated, thanks

Nick

The 620 would be much better. It is bigger and has a much better filtration system as opposed to the outdated and pretty useless (given technology available and the cons of using it) UGF.

hav to admit im not sure what tank your talking about but IMO forget it.

when you kno how much money you have to spend, start searching ebay and youll find a great deal im sure.

if you go to advanced search you can get results within X amount of miles from your house so you can go pick it up too.

thanks both of you.

Sam, i know how much i have to spend, just wasnt sure whether to spend an extra sixty quid on a tank only 25 litres bigger.

Is the trickle system you're referring to perhaps a Bio Wheel? If so, it's definitely worth the extra cash.
