What Wattage Works Wonders?

I'm a newbie. My first post. I want to purchase a used Cadlights 5.5g nano and start my 1st nano tank. This used tank must be an older model because is only comes with 2bulbs, 6 watt T5 lighting for a total of 12w. Cadlights.com has their new 5.5g nano with 4 bulbs for 24w's. Is the 12w bulbs good enough to grow corals or should I pass on the deal?

it mite work for low loght corals like mushrooms and maybe zoas

Well, I planned on and am running two 18 watt PCs for my 5.5g mantis nano...
