what vegi's are good for fish???

i have a full zuchini just sitting there....if i chop it up, will my cichlids eat it?? i know people do cucumbers and lettuce.....is zuchini okay?? what about squash and things of that sort??

also, how do you keep your vegi's from floating on the top??

they will love it...

try weighing it down with some of the lead clips used fo plants or anthing really that will sink.

i alo feed. lettuce, cucumber, brocoli nd peas etc,,

I haven't tried brocoli yet, I am really afraid of fishes making a big mess out of the tank. Are they clean to feed? Soooo many little pieces in that vegetable!

Yes, you do have to take the skin off the peas. I often sit for ages with a bowl of peas,de-skinning them,while laughing about the things I do for my fish!! lol

we get a whole lot of vegie, mash them up, then freeze them in the frozen blood worm cubes. makes it easier to use.

i put cucumber corn and spinach all in a blender then i freeze it. is this ok??
