What To Watch?

agree on the new series Ace.

I tell ya what i really liked until about the 4th series and that was Supernatural. Then it went a bit girly.

Try find something called the last train. I think it was called that. Late 90's/ early '00s mini drama series about a group of people who survive a world ending event. I sound a bit vague, i dont want to give it away incase you watch it. I was only about 15 when i saw it, if that. So forgive me if you watch it and its pap, but its certainly stuck with me all these years.

If you've seen 'The Wire' & 'Boardwalk' how about 'The Sopranos'
6 series, and barely a bad episode IMHO

I was thinking that, but I've never liked Mafia movies, I might try it again now Boardwalk has got me in the mood :). I'm just searching for something to fill the void The Wire left, that program was remarkable Seasons 1-4 had me completely gripped and caring whether the characters actually died or lives, which for me never really happens. BODIE I MISS YOU, hah. When I saw the guy who plays Omar in Boardwalk I screamed 'OMAR'S COMING YO!' at the Screen haha.

I just want something with a little more character development, plot etc... Thanks for suggestions anyhow.

If you stick with it (not difficult) you'll get this in bucket loads.

Ha.had the same reaction myself

, plus in later series Steve Buscemi has a recurring role in Sopranos.

House, Battlestar Galactica, criminal minds, Peppa pig, supernatural, mentalist, firefly.

Peppa pig?

Sopranos gets my vote, absolutely fantastic! Quite good to see how they age between the first and last series.

I know it's not your scene Ace..... but we currently have a marathon re-run on "Fawlty Towers"...... I find it hard to tear myself away from the tv.... ... Good old English (semi) slapstick...... I'm having a good

You have just made an enemy, for even reminding me of that show.

Yeah, I've seen it too much though :). Think I'm doing to D/L the whole Red Dwarf, Only Fools and Horses and Sopranos. Thanks

Also, the UK "Life on Mars".
Firefly rocks. Your attitude raises doubts about your taste

That's the reason, it rocks so hard, and even reminding someone of it put's it back in your head and you get excited until you realise there will never be another series, then it makes you suicidal.

It's the only program I rate higher than the Wire.

I feel your pain.

Suprised no one has mentioned Lost? Best show I have watched in years.

Also, but of an older one, but This Life back in the 90's was superb.

Oh and the Walking Dead is ace.

Also what about Sparticus; Blood in the sand and Gods of the Arena?

Lost, I "Lost" interest after series 2. No Pun intended.

Sparticus is not for me, it's like a terrible Rome. But I'll check out the rest, thanks.
