What To Put In

Hi all

on a previous topic i mentioned getting a corner unit and was asking about custome made as i wanted to get some discus but as another member mentioned that the tank wouldnt be big enough maybe in the future

anyway 190 litres of tank dimensions 99 x 70 x 60 cm (corner unit)

im stuggling to think of fish to put into it as i quite like oddball fish or things that are unusual in tanks for example i was in my lfs a few days ago and i saw butterfly fish things like that

any suggestions on what it could be stocked with ?

or any websites that stock oddball fish that i can browse through ?

I liked discuss too - untill i was told they should be in a shoal of 6 - and in my lfs that would have amounted to £120 (ouch)

What about dwarf puffers? I like the green spotted ones - but they get to about 6"

yeah the more ive been reading into it the more everything keeps comine out 6minimum but maybe one day

ive seen those dwarf puffers i keep thinking there just going to go BANG and a neon tetra swimming along going omfg #128### just happend with half a fish stuck to it.

im contemplating putting my bgkf and my rescued angel in there aswell to add some room in my other tank

( i rescued an angel from the lfs because all the other angels were ganging up on him and his fins were badly nipped, since resuce they have grown back and i feel all warm inside )

so i suppose really what would mix with those two as out of all of my fish these two get on really well. sometimes when i go downstairs at night the angel goes into the bgkf cave and he doesnt really let any other fish in there ?

aw thats really cool - I took two lemon tetras off a friend because his cray fish had had a go at them and their fins and tail have all grown back beautifully - am real proud

hmm thats a really odd but nice friendship! glass cats wouldnt nip fins - and mine dont seem to move from their shoaling spot so dont invade my plecs cave

You got me started on dp's you know, Im already planning my next tank!
