What to feed a bass?

Isn't it illegal to catch a fish and put it in an aquarium??
Might be, never thought about it. I don't know why it would be if it is illegal.

I don't see a problem with doing it though and have done it many times in the past.

If it's legal to catch/keep and take home to eat, then I wouldn't think it would bother the DNR if we put them in our tanks.

I know it's illegal to tank our fish from our tanks and put them in lakes though.

it isnt illegal to keep them in the aquirium as long as there over the size limit of your state at the time you got them weather you caught them or just netted make sure there over the state size limit or you can get MAJOR!! fines from the DNR. been there done that.

to answer all teh questions not eleagle and they eat everything small my uncle had a big mouth bass 7 years old about 12or13 inches long r.i.p 2 weeks ago but he at 7 med sized goldfish every week only once a week though so i owuld give it some 10 cent gold fish until he gets bigger then your gonna be investin like a mother  about 5 bucks a month good luck with that bass and maybe find a differant spot for the convict once the bass starts to get any bigger

umm, you're wrong about it not being against the law. It just depends on what you take out of the lakes and rivers. If you take a Karp/Goldfish they wouldn't care. But a native fish? YES! They would care it is against the law....

You are right about it being against the law to adding fish into the lakes because of the native fish being no more and those that were added over breed and take over...
