Those MTS will multiply rapidly so dont worry about them looking like a small amount, nice looking tank, its come along really well, fish are going to love it.

The pH did hit 8.2 but I've gotten it back down to the tap water ph at 7.4-7.6. 
I have some IAL on the way too 
 
Thank you just waiting for the swords now though. The dilevery is taking too long. 
It just looked like a small amount in the photo that was all. I know they breed like crazy. I'll be getting as assassins when they start getting crazy amounts and hope for a good balance between the two.

@gmc1 I really want to venture into the salt water dark side but Im really scared! Im going to be following your thread for tips

I don't know about tips.you could learn from my mistakes.rr aquariums is kindly on hand to assist me.
I installed my ro unit last night and made my first batch of water.Was surprisingly easy.all equipment is bought.once the tank is broken down and cleaned I will order my live rock.

Still waiting on my swords and ordered some IAL yesterday

I found that with swords I used to use ferropol JBL ferts, and also those fert tabs at one point for the one I had, I could get them to grow until I used liquid carbon and they took off even little swords quickly grew and now I have 3! The original one is about 50cm high...just a little tip there for you

Another update

 
My swords finally arrived along with my IAL 
AND WOW the swords are big already

The leaves look amazing and are just floating for now. Tried to sink them but it didn't work. 
 
And this morning my danios are so active and nuts Omgosh don't know what's gotten into them! I should ban them from the sugar! 
 
I have also noticed that my angels have cleared my wood of the Algae that was on it. But it's not been the two I thought had paired up. Nor have I seen anymore of this behaviour.

I should get another picture as the leaves have sunk now. And my clown pleco seems to come out alot more  
And my swords are already sprouting new leaves !
