.....the sad thing is that these things are only developed because there is a market for them

I can see the fasination in them and am sure that if they were 'natural' then we'd all want a shoal of these in our tank...

Just don't think its right to mess with nature for commercial gain

I can't seem to forget that these fish are produced around where they make horses fight each other for sport.

I think the things they can do with genetics are pretty awesome. I don't think there is anything wrong with testing it on fish and doing experiments, but producing hundreds of thousands of them for commercial sale is different. I signed the petition.


Did you guys read about the rabbit? They did the same thing using proteins from jellyfish and put them into a white rabbit. It actually worked too. I really hope they don't start mass-producing (I use the word producing because I wouldn't consider it breeding if they are genetically engineering them) neon green bunnies.


If they continue the fish may end up like this... (but without the smile)
