I would have chosen "loachs,suckermoths&catfish" even 3 months ago. Now it is Cichlids (more specifically, Malawi/Tang species) all the way!

Im my opinion and experience they have much more personality than other fish.

my dojo loach and bristlenose really give my community tank something extra. i had been looking for an eel like fish for awhile that wouldnt just hide in a cave all the time and the dojo is great. always active and swimming around. my plec is active too. got him really young and he just started growing his bristles. yay!!!

I like most fish but I voted characin (tetra) because they are colourful and are relativly small (more to a tank!)

Plecos and catsfish for me they are very special. I lvoe the way mine sails around the tank as though hes on a different planet to the rest o the fish - hes the King of my Tank!!!

i also find anabantoids fascinating fish but I dislike bettas so I didnt vote for those. Gouramis come among my top 5, especially the dwarfs!!! but I dont have any dwarfs.
