What Species?

The top is sunset and bottom is orange? Because the bottom one isnt rly orange and i think they are same species because they were sold together and are always near each other hanging out never seperating.

yes they are. They are both platys, which is the species, the orange and sunrise are the color variations, it doesn't really matter what color they are. They probably hang out together all the time because they are trying to breed (well at least the male is anyways )
are they both amles, both females, or one male and one female??

its the species that matter, not the color.
as mommyof2bettas said, as they are both platies, they will usally hang near each other, the colors dont matter,

They are not trying to mate... they are both males. They dont harrass each other, they just stay together and play with each other.

ok, I didn't say they were harrassing each other. The males will follow each other anyways, I've heard about them trying to mate with plants and ornaments, so they will probably "try" to mate with each other as well!
