I'm sorry to hear about your conditions.
I'll try my best to give you some advice(by the way, I didn't read through all the posts here).
By the way, do you have parents or older siblings who can advise you and support you financially?
Some advice for you:
1)Firstly, list down your strengths and jobs/careers that you are interested in.
Your GCEs results will tell you of your strengths.
Also, usually your strengths will be in the things that you have the most interest.
But at your age, you may not have discovered most of your strengths or interests.
2)Secondly, usually the quickest way to earn a living is through educations.
Can you take some diploma courses at some schools or polytechnics with your GCEs?
Or any kind of short courses?
You can always further your studies later on. Don't stop at diploma but continue with a degree or higher degree.
Courses that are always useful/in demand are like Accountings/Finance, Information Technology/Computer, Software/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Business/Sales, etc.
Search the internets for available courses that have market demands.
3)But if you can't continue with your education, then you must seriously try to learn some skills such as Chef/Cook, Car mechanics, Hair stylist, etc.
There will be some schools that teach these skills.
If not, try to find a job that allow you to learn the above skills by working under someone who can teach/train you the skills. By the way, this route may take a longer time.
Also, make sure that the skills can provide you with a decent salary after you have gained much experience.
4)When you mentioned that you are meek, do you mean to say that you are lack of confidence?
Your confidence can always be built up when you started to work with people and have more experience.
Also, don't bother about what people may think about you.
So, begin to plan your future and career.
The internets will have a lot of information to help you.
Never let anything hinder you from achieving your goals in life.
Talk to people and start making friends especially true friends who will help you through thick and thin.
Lastly, pray to God for His providence and blessings if you believe in God.
Romans 8:32 : He(God) who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
