What Pump To Use With Berlin Skimmer

Hi guys,
So I'm finally setting up my aquarium and wondering what size pump to get for the skimmer in the link below
I was thinking Eheim - 1250 universal pump (1200lph) but is this too powerfull?
Or is there such thing as too powerfull, It came with a pump but its nowhere near powerfull enough as its not skimming much at all if anything

Whats the best way of returning in back into the tank

My tanks 600l BTW and My sump is going to be about 100l<not built yet, In the process>
