So when our 28 gallon tank finally finishes cycling.
My betta Bluebell and the 4 cories that were in it will be going back in.
Of course we want to get more fish for the tank, but I'm not sure what we should get.

I know I would like to get 2 more cories to bring their number to 6....
And I think fiance really wants to get a hillstream loach? Think that's what they're called heh. (not sure on this one though since it seems it's more of a colder water fish)

But other than that we're not sure. No livebearers though.
Also don't think fiance wants to get any more danios.

But other than that... any suggestion is welcome. I would love something that would take advantage of the entire tank and wouldn't nip at my betta.
Fish only.. no frogs, or snails, or shrimp :p hehe

I always wanted to get Harlequin rasboras. My friend has 22 of them and a beta and has had no problems. I think it's been like 5 months.

white clouds can live in cold and tropical. Why not mabe 4 more females? and maybe some harlequins? like 10 of them? and maybe someting like a pair of rams?

i always wanted oscars, but never had a big enough tank. what about 2 golden gouramis?

I would love to get more female bettas but don't think fiance wants anymore. Plus I wouldn't have anywhere to put them if they became too aggressive to keep together.

I looked up info on some more rasboras....
I think the Dwarf Rasboras are really nice looking. Are they peaceful like the harlequins? Not even sure if I've ever seen these for sale, but if so and if they're peaceful, I'd love to get a smaller sized fish so we could get more of them and still have some room for another type of fish :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions so far!
