What Next?

Hi all. I have only set up my tank a few days ago. I am curious how long does it take for the ammonia levels to rise and also what type of fish to get after the cycle. I know I have about a month and a half to go but I just can't stop thinking about what to get next. Would bottom feeders be fine (Bristle Nose or some Clown Loaches) or would it be better to get more top and mid level fish. I woul eventually like to get some Discus down the road but that wont be for awhile. Well what do you guys think?

Clown Loaches need a more established tank. Maybe a pair of Gouramis to add some graceful fish. I would suggest Pearl Gouramis, Dwarf Gouramis , Blue or Gold Gouramis Link or Honey Gouramis Link.
