It is truly strange. I mean the brain is fascinating organ.Aaaww that's sweet, thank you! I'd happy make that trade out with you, especially if it helped ease your anxiety. <3
I have depression and PTSD too - sucks, so I get it!
Memory is an odd and fascinating thing. When I studied psychology at university they taught a lot about how memories are laid down and stored in the brain, how they can become inaccurate over time, unreliability of witness testimony because of how easily distorted they are etc... really interesting stuff, which ironically, I wish I could remember more about!
I dream in Techni color with surround sound and if I dream about work, I wake up feeling like I have done a full day on the job.It is truly strange. I mean the brain is fascinating organ.
One of the things I hate the most is I will dream in a hyper realistic way (not all dreams contain Velociraptors and orca whale in my living room carpet ). I can have a dream, of a typical day in my life, hear the voices, see the faces of people I know and also faces of others I don't (often random people I had seen the walking the street at one point or another) have interactions and then my alarm clock rings.
I would say it does make you pretty special. You have good eye and many fantastic shots!Honestly don’t know what makes me special per say. Lots of my interests are the interesting of many other people.
Probably my most prominent would be my photography.
My Personal Best Photographs...
Here are some of my personal best photos, more to come later. Nature first: Hope you enjoy!www.fishforums.net
Argh, I hate that feeling. It's like, man, didn't I just do a whole shift now I got to get up and do it again. What is really freaky is when stuff in your dreams happens IRL. The feeling of deja vu can get super trippy.I dream in Techni color with surround sound and if I dream about work, I wake up feeling like I have done a full day on the job.
Dreaming about dinos is awesome! I'd love that dream And Orcas are one of my favourite creatures ever - amazing animals. But yep, vivid dreams can be really freaky. It is truly strange. I mean the brain is fascinating organ.

If they were both not trying to eat me at the time, I would agree with you! Those Orca were trying to pop me off the couch like a seal! Yep, no documented case of an orca whale harming a human, but my brain was like, "Watch this"Dreaming about dinos is awesome! I'm a baker by trade and can work a whole night shift in my dreams, it gets really bad if there is a breakdown and you start ringing engineers and electricians.Argh, I hate that feeling. Oh, I am sure of it. I love Attenborough docs, the tone and sound of his voice is amazing!had you recently watched that documentary where they showed that orcas co-ordinate their hunt to create waves that splash a seal off of an ice block? But you were the seal and the sofa the ice!
That doc and footage was the first time the behaviour had been documented in the wild - absolutely mind-blowing. I was reared watching David Attenborough documentaries, and they've only gotten better in the decades since, with improved technology and cameras letting us see parts of nature that we never could before. I love it, endlessly fascinating.
Here is a second one of my sister. You can see her eye color much better and as you can see she was patches on her hand/wrist too(although I don’t)Finally convinced my sister to send me a photo her hair/markings so tada
The bribe was she stole my hoodie (she also used a filter so her eye/s look brighter then irl because /obviously/ she isn’t pretty enough already XD she is even more self conscious then me heh)View attachment 160754
It sort of sounds like you have autism, not in a bad way but you can remember things more clearly than others. A bit like a Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory, only not as annoying as himI have an excellent memory bank in terms of people, places, things and events that hold detail for many years. I have memories from when I was very, very small that are still clear even now. I imagine this is another reason why I dream vividly, of course late night snacks not helping in that. I can recall and recite the medical history of a case I was on even if we haven't seen that pet for years. I can recognize a person I have met, from behind, even if we have only met briefly face to face. Names to faces are a cake walk. Useless trivia and quotes from movies. The name of the movie, when we first saw it, where we sat and who was with us and all that happened that day even if it was ages ago. In terms of art, this means I can sketch something I saw without having it for reference before me with a good degree of accuracy.
This however, does not help my anxiety, because I can clearly visualize events in my life I get to over analyze them whenever I want. Even if the event was decades ago.
Interestingly, my younger brother has Aphantasia.
