Yeah, it's too long. I am going to cut it when these eggs hatch, just don't want to disturb the tank until they have hatched.

Did I miss something? Where did the eggs come from?

If you yanked everything out and planted a single amazon sword in the middle of the tank it would look 10 times better, just looks like a weedy mess at the moment.

Cpl Dibble I think your tank looks quite good.  If I would change anything then I would try to make the wood into more of a centrepiece.
 
And if it means anything my 5 year old just walked in while I was looking and said "Ooh look at that beautiful fish tank!  It's so pretty!"
Sorry though Gvilleguy he doesn't like yours because "it's got a Lego house in it!"

I know it sounds harsh and i don't like shooting people down when they start, but you should spend some time looking through the planted tank journals on the forum, do some research.

My plants are still growing well even with them in. Well, all I know is planting something dead middle in the tank is wrong My plants are doing well and I like the look of them. I want it to look natural rather than a manmade scape. This is why I am letting plants melt and letting dwarf Sag spread. I am going to move the swords and elodea, but like I said, I need to wait for those eggs to hatch before I disturb anything.

Corporal Dibble? lol. Thanks. I know what you mean about the wood, but I quite like it where it is now When I tie the Anubias on it I think it will look better.

No I quite like the tank. Caves are good! My son finally wore me down. The Legos have been removed from my tank so that he can play with the Atlantis set. I am currently rescaping for apistos.

Yep I meant my son saw the tank in Gville's sig!
I didn't realise it was actually lego, I just laughed when my son said it was a lego house but I thought it was just a normal fish ornament!

Its the only place, in a tank that size, where it might stand a chance of growing nicely
