It's surprising how quiet some cats meows are, but others are loud! Russian Blue cats are soft meowers, but my mutt cat was buisterous.

yeah! And Siamese, notorious for that specific loud long meow. Gramma had this funny cat, she was sweet-she would stare at you and just meow. For no reason!

My cats just lets us know they're hungry and loudly, otherwise they're quiet.

Dogs are generally much better than cats in my opinion, although i'm not a fan of the toy breeds of dogs or just generally very over-bred breeds of dogs- i like a dog to look like a dog and not look like someones tried to breed it look like a cat or whatever etc.

Hows this for the dogs versus cat arguement though- how many stories have you heard of cats risking their lives to save people?

But a pig will look you in the eye.


Pigs see people as equals, pigs are more intelligent than dogs or cats in my opinion, but of couse they don't make good pets for most people due to their large sizes and stuff.
Cats are such instinct driven selfish animals though, they actually look down people- a cat doesn't sit on your lap because it loves you, it just sits on your lap because its warm.

Lol, i must sound like i hate cats or something, i don't really, but just don't think they're that great. Too many people keep cats now days, they are so many stray cats and domesticated cats in general are having a very bad effect on our wildlife- cats are very efficient and prolific predators, they might look cute and cuddly, but at heart and in the mind they're killers and very much self-driven animals.

pigs being one of our close relatives, apart from, some, primates. i guess it is no supprise they look us in the eye. not sure about as pets, but they make good friends, and are really not an animal to fall out with, long memorys and sharp teeth.

Haha if thats the case then so do Egyptian Scarab Beetles!
I love the whole Scarab family. Especially Dynastae and Cetonidae.
