what is your faverite coldwater fish

Ryukin goldfish and sterlets I think, but there are many more I like.

Ranchu as i love my little tweety, and oranda's thats orange pip.

Have you posted pics of your fish anywhere wilder, i'd like to see them.

No but i will soon as we are meant to be getting a new dig camera as my daughter has the other one, never seem to get anything back, lol, can't even use mobile as the blue tooth thing can't seem to figure it out.

I love orandas, since they were my first large goldfish, but I would have to say that my favorites for beauty is the Black Moor. I love how when they get larger their fins are whispy and flow behind them. Now, if only Ningyo wasn't so agressive, he could have a friend in the tank.

I have to agree with Moray, sturgeons are the coolest looking fish.....due to their size I cant imagine I'll ever have a pond big enough to keep one and even if did Id probably never see it but one day I'll think of something.....Ive always loved them.

My favourite coldwater fish is a telescopic we use to have, we got him free from the shop because one eye pointed up and one pointed down, the shop said he wasnt for sale as he would probably die on the way home, I begged them and offered to pay full price for him and fully accepted it was at my own risk.....he lived for a long time but sadly he died of a fungus....RIP Bong-eye! :rip:

we used to have a huge pond at our old house it was like a mini-lake...we kept bass, a sturgeon, a huge channel catfish and koi in it. my favorite of them was the catfish because of his size and how you could feed him anything and he would eat it...he would even eat the ducklings of the ducks that lived by our pond. The sturgeon was awesome but we never saw it until we decided to change the bottom from mud to rock and we just barely saw him before he took off down into the practically bottomless mud as the pond was dug on a marsh (i think thats what it was)
