Hi. I just did a little remodeling to my fish tanks, therefor, my female betta had to be moved to a bowl for a few days. I got my ten gallon set back up and moved her back in their with my molly. She used to be the color of steel blue, now she is whiteish/gray. She also dosen't swim very much, only coming up to eat. Is their anything i can do?

P.S. She has been bred 2 times.

What is the temp of your tank?  What are your readings for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?  Did you do any water changes to the bowl while she was in there the few days?  Sorry for only asking more questions but this will help with a better reply as to what might be wrong and what you might be able to do remedy the problem

1) 78 fareinheit

2) 0.25 ammonia. Don't have anything to test nitrates/nitrites. (I am planning on getting some ammonia lowerer soon)

3) No, but she was only in there 3 days.

Also, it looks as if someone sprinkled yellow pollen, or dust on her back. Is that ich?

That sounds like velvet to me.  Ich is white spots almost like grains of sand.  The temp is good but could be a bit higher as it is the bare minimum I recommend anyone keeping a betta splendens.  Any ammonia is not good.  I would do water changes of at least 30% every other day until your tank is cycled.  I personally wouldn't recommend an ammonia lowerer since water changes will do that better than anything else.  Being in an unheated bowl with no water changes for 3 days has lowered her immune system which is probably why she is having issues.  A bowl needs 100% water changes every day while being used. (Just for future info :)  )

Treatment for Velvet is as follows:  Raise the temp to a steady 82-84 F which is the temperature that the disease starts dying off; blackout the tank since velvet reacts to light; and treat with either copper based medications or acriflavine--for the time listed on the bottle.

I hope this helps.  Oh and if you use a copper medication it would probably be better to put the fish(the molly as well as velvet is contagious) in a separate container/tub for treatment since it is hard to get copper out of your tank and it can be lethal to other things like inverterbrates even long after you have removed the meds from the water.
