Hello all,
I am a new fish owner here and recently started this hobby a month ago in a 9 gallon fluval flex with 1 Betta, 3 nerite snails, 3 cherry shrimps and 3 amano shrimp.
My Betta fish Kevin has been through a lot since I got him last month. The first week, he was fine, but after 1 week, he stopped eating, was very quiet, shy and always went into hiding or stayed near the intake filter. I fasted him and gave him some epsom salt baths and he had recovered from whatever that was. After a week of that, he had some eye injury where one eye became very swollen due to who knows what, so back to the epsom salt bath for a few days and its much better now after 3 days of the bath. However, on Friday morning, I fed him and he was fine and I also checked on him in the afternoon and he was fine still, but when I fed him in the evening, I see this white spot on his face and it looks like nothing I have seen online. What could it be? It looks like one of my nerite snail eggs (recent boom in my tank). He's been acting fine and is not bothered by it. I'm not sure what I should do.
