Got this guy as a hitch hiker on my pink euphyilla quite a while ago. Since then he has just sat there underneath it seemingly filter feeding i guess. For some reason last night he decided to make his way across my tank, and got pretty far!

Here he is marked with an arrow, he's some type of bivalve.

And his move. It's a good 15cm journey across multiple rocks!

Just curious what he is now that he's moved. If you put your hand near him, he closes up tight. So seems to be light sensitive. Maybe 2 centimeters in length.

Thanks :)

i have a bunch of those in my tank too! its been in there ever since my tank was created, so it seems hardy and harmless. just another harmless filter feeding hitch hiker i guess... not exactly sure what they are, they look like some type of clam.

I;m not sure what it is but I wish I had one!! I love the unexpected in our reefs

Keep us updated please Nemo
