What Hope Is There For Little Ones Education?!

Ha ha I thought when I wrote that I bet it isn't!

Looks a nice fish any rate, sorry about your old avatars Mrs, not sure I've ever heard of that breed before? Will have a google now :)

There's a few different Limia species, they're all from central America and the Caribbean islands.

I'm going to move this thread on over to general chat since it's not so much about fish as it is the appalling state of children's television and perhaps education in general! ;)

I feel positively edified now TLM! Not! lol
And what's wrong with a northern accent Blondie? Have to admit it was a false northern accent and not particularly well-done - am assuming that's what you were referring to! lol
Yeah and also I'm not used to the many of the English accents! Which is strange considering there is a lot of English over in NZ! (Was going to say poms but I'm not sure if that's offensive lol!) :p

Not to me - I think all nationalities have their own nick-names for each other.
I've always wanted to vist NZ but never had the brass to do it! Hmmm maybe if I win the lottery...........

Haha apparently the English love NZ just not our accents! :p But it is a beautiful place so keep buying those lottery tickets lol! :p

I think the 'Pom' term came from when Australia really needed more people so they were selling dirt cheap tickets to Australia from England. " 10-pound pommies " I think the campaign was called.

I don't see what's wrong with the accent? Better than the South African one (apologies to any SA visitors, I'm really sorry. If it's any consolation, I also hate the NE British "Geordie" accent)

My cousin's daughter has just emigrated to Auckland.

I do Blondie, but it seems I'm just feeding other folks' winnings as I never win anything more than £10! lol

Haha lol hopefully you'll get lucky sometime!
Auckland is a beautiful place although heavily populated (for NZ standards as compared to other city's all over the world it would probably be only a small-medium sized city - it only has little over 1 million people lol!)
That's interesting to know TallTree!
TLM are you talking about the Kiwi accent or the English accent?

See how everything links back to Australia ;) ...
I reckon kiwi accents are like half way between an Aussie and a Pommies accent.

I was saying that I don't see why anyone doesn't like the Kiwi accent, or the Aussie one for that matter.
