Minnnt - I am using a fluval 305 external filter. As you've stated it must be down to water changes. I change 20% per month as the moment. This is due to bad advice from other people but will definitely start doing 20% a week. Thank you for your advice. I have bought NLS. Never used it before so have to wait and hopefully they grow

Yeah my fry were always fed on Prima and they grew quickly. Once my Hikari gold runs out for my Cichlids i will replace it with NLS pellets.
