I am looking to add 4-5 more fish to my tank to complete the stocking, it still looks abit empty.

What fish should i get? i would like to get something different that would be compatible with the fish i have.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Looks like a lot of fish already to me. I haven't checked if you're overstocked, but if you aren't, or have ultra-mega filters, then I would get company (i.e. more of the same species) for your platies, kuhli loaches, and harlequin rasboras.

Seems abit empty to me, i wouldn't say it was overstocked, also i have 2 fluval 4+ filters running in my tank.

I would love the kissing gourami's but i know they are semi-aggressive and i'm not sure whether they would be compatible with the other fish in my tank.

you have got a nice mix of fish. remember that clown loaches get very large (up to a foot) so eventually they may have to be moved

mabie you could add some rainbowfish or a type of gourami(pearl are nice). mabie even some keyhole cichlids

your well overstocked already, you have aprox 80" of fish and have room for 50"...... it may look empty but that's cos your fish are young, you need to stock based on adult size and based on that your well over. I would be advising you to get rid of your clown loaches for a start, they take up 12" each.... get rid of those and you've got just about the right amount of fish for your tank.... you'd have room to up the shoal's to acceptable numbers (6+) and then with good maintenance and slight over filtration you'd be fine.

Definately do not add any more fish.

oh and kissing gourami's get to 12" as well so are waaaay to big!

I wouldn't get any more, but I think the tank will be all right for the time being. Remember clown loaches grow slowly- by the time they are approaching full size, the guppies, platies and gouramis will be dead from old age (always assuming the livebearers don't breed). If you think the tank looks empty, think about what nature looks like. It's not a group photo you're aiming at, but an environment where these fish can get on with some sort of natural behaviour. To spice it up for yourself, try adding more plants/caves/ornaments, feed a varied diet and take time to study the species you have and the group dynamics.
