Hi,

Just thought I would run my ideas past you guys.... 85litre tank, (22 US Gallons?). I think I might have too many fish, but i'm not entirely sure. I won't be getting them for another couple of weeks.... Down to LFS this weekend to buy test kits.... Also I have 1 live plant in the tank and i'm planning on getting a couple more.

3 Platies (I already have 2)
6 Tetra
3 Guppies
2 Corycats
4 Danios

Jo.

Sounds fine to me.

nvm, I mis-read one of the things, I'd say you're fine.

Seems fine, what tetras are they? And what danios? you need six plus if they are zebras maybe the same for other danios, the wolf would know, I have only kept zebras.

Jon

I'd say 5 danios minnimum myself. Cories do best in groups of 4 as well. What species of tetra? - maybe you can squeeze the extra cories and danio in if they are a small one.

cool.

I was thinking Neon's or Cardinals and Golden White Danio's (but this obviously depends whether I can get them here or not).

Also, I was thinking instead of the Danio's maybe having a Penguin tetra or something?

Thanks again,

Jo.

I think if you went with neons you could squeeze in the extra fish as neons are pretty much half the size of cardinals.

Instead of danios... I wouldn't go for any tetras but black phantom :p I just feel that danios generaly have a lot more character than tetras but black phantoms are a worthy replacement - being one of the few tetras with personality. Males will display beautifuly, thy are clean and peaceful, and they have the ability to rapidly color-change from pale grey to coal black. Penguin tetras would work though :)

Thanks Sylvia

So if i went with the neons you think I could get 2 more of both the Cory's and the Danio's?

Cheers, Jo.
