I have changed the background to black. I like the pink before anyone says change it lol. I was thinking some more plants along the back maybe?

I would move the thermometer onto one of the side walls. :good:

Thanks good suggestion, I put it there so I could see it easily to check the temp.

Asking a question like this isn't a great idea unless you are ready for people to critisize.

Everyone has a different taste and opinion of what they like.

Personally i don't like heaters and filters in the tank, it really takes away from the whole look for me.

I would add more plants along the back to try and hide the heater.

I would put the thermometer at the back somewhere it can't be seen as easily.

I don't like anything un-natural so this really isn't for me i'm afraid.

I don't mind tbh. I know a lot of people like the natural planted look and I do too. But I also like it bright and pink and a bit tacky lol.

and I agree I need plants along yhe back to hide the heater. I'm defo getting some.

In my opinion for what it's worth, there is no right and wrong, there is what you personally like, so there will always be differences of opinions in this kind of forum. My choices would be to shift the thermometer from the front to a side and put some plants on the back to hide the heater. Loose the fake coral and plastic wood and move to a more natural piece of bogwood on which you can attach some real plants. I can see a platty in there and coral is a marine in nature, so personally I don't think the two look right side by side, but as said before, if it's what you like, then it isn't wrong.

When you move the thermometer, don't put it too close to the heater, else you will get a false view of the tanks overall temperature

I've hidden the thermometer like you suggested. I've moved the heater to one side at the back and will get plants to cover it up.
