i like this set up more, but i'd add one more angel fish. the tiger barbs do not pick on teh other fish as much when they are in large groups. when they are alone or in small groups they do. however, they attack each other instead of the other fish when they are in large groups.

Well the guy i'm buying them off of keeps his huge healthy Discus (dinner plate size) with Angels. He strongly recommends it, and I can see why

Once I get them i'll take pics.


I actually moved, and do not have my angels anymore I wish I could have took them with me, but it was only after the hurricane, that my family and I decided I would stay. Thats why I added them...

I saw these German Blue/Gold rams yesterday and I feel in love with them!! 1 of each will substitute for the Corys.

5 Discus
1 Angel
1 German Blue Ram
1 Gold Ram

Today is my birthday, and to treat myself I am getting the tank today

Got the tank today, and started a little journal. Anyways, it's pretty decent. I need to find a stand for it though (the one they where offering was WAY too big.) It's 4 feet long, and 13 inches wide. Anyone know any good name brand tanks 2 feet (ish) long and 13 or 14 inches (ish) wide?

Well it's 20 tall, I didn't really count the top on my other thread. (When you measure do you count the top black frame?)

The extra inch in height is good, but you'll find they will be cramped with respect to the width. Just imagine two adult discus side by side and thats your width gone, it could cause problems when they fight.
