Fish Crazy
HI ALL
So recently I decided my plain-Jane anubias were just too boring for me. They were attached to some local slate, and were nice little plants. But I wanted more space for stuff a little more vibrant. I brought them to the only really good shop I know, and they were going to just take them for nothing, then they saw them in person and gave me $15 store credit. Not too bad, seeing as they need to make a profit on them someday.
My question is, though, what do most hobbyists do with their spare plants? I expected to find sale/auction listings from non-commercial sellers everywhere on the 'net, but haven't found many at all. Even on forums! Given the sheer quantity of people with aquariums in the USA, I am befuddled.
I have a bunch of nice Alternanthera reineckii "mini" stems and cuttings that need new homes SOON, but I have NO idea what to ask for them, or if anyone would really want them.
Would appreciate some input from experienced fishy folk!
