I Recently Discover two pieces of "gravel" that i never bought in my tank and am wondering if they are eggs that belong to my cories as the rest of the fish are livebearers.
one is bright yellow and my cories keeps sitting right next to it and the other is whiter-ish and kinda buried under gravel from when i tried to get it, also they are kinda hard and didnt break when i accidentally smashed them against the glass

going by my cory eggs, they certainly not hard or bright yellow, they're creamy/beige colour and quite soft, they would pop if you 'smashed them against anything'

They'll be round with a small dot in the centre, which is the fry growing.although colour of eggs do vary between cories species. If they are completely white, they're more than likely infertile.

Sounds like bits of gravel, can you get a pic up?

cory eggs do go hard in time. they will be perfectly round and usually stuck to the glass or plants etc, if they were on the gravel i doubt they will be eggs.....

In my Cory fry tank I'm also breeding snails for food. Snail eggs look like bubbles in a clear jelly.

The Cory eggs are very small the size of .... You know the pens that have the click top. They are the size of the hole where the pen tip comes out And round. Often a creamy white that trends to get darker as the fry develop. They are not hard like a rock but firm once they have set. And they are sticky once you get the. On your fingers it's hard to get them Off.
