What decorations do i need for my fish?

I've noticed that most of my fish have no place to hide. My rainbow shark lives in a cave and the rest just swim around. In my tank I have 3 caves, and one of them has plastic plants coming out of it. I also have several short (1.5") spiny plastic plants and about a 4" tall plastic plant. What other things do i need to make my fish feel more secure? Do my dif. kinds of fish need anything in particular? I'd appreciate any ideas.

I plan on getting a pleco, do they need a cave or something to hide in?

A few taller plants might help (maybe a little 'jungle' in the corner kind of thing?).

And many types of plecos like to have a piece of driftwood they can attach to, from what I've read.

i recommend getting a bunch a tall medium and small plants. for take 3 small plants and plant them as close to gether as u can. plecos like caves where they can go upside down t they get to big for most all caves later. bubble dics are also nice.

You should check out the members aquarium pics. The people here have INCREDIBLE tanks. If you have a local store (never seen this at a chain store), see if they sell bogwood by the pound. I would buy 1 or 2 big pieces and a bunch of the smallest pieces for the bottom. Be sure to soak them in hot water untill the water goes clear.
