I'm making a slate cave for my fish and i was wondering what i can use to glue the peices together. I have used clear silicone sealer but it seems to be too flexible and it starts to lean.

Is there anything I can use which will be stronger?

Thats odd, once dry the silicon should be fine. :blink:
After all, your tank is glued together with it!!

Theres a product called Gold Label that is on the market which would be ideal for that kind of thing, I think its mainly used for joining pond liner, but it is totaly safe to use with fish, plants etc. The actual stuff is black but the good thing about it, is that it can be used to bond almost all surfaces, and can be used under water as long as it is a clean / greace free surface.

The tube looks like this;

24 hours is normaly cure time for silicon, but depends on how thick you put it on???

That Gold label stuff is just silicon too.
