What Cories Should I Get?

Hey guys!

I have 10 Cories (four Three-Striped, four Bronze, and two Peppered) and in the future (when I have more room in my tank) I am planning on getting some more Cories. I've done tons (I meen tons) of reasearch on what are some of the best Cories.

So, other then the three species I have, in your opinion whats another good species to get?

what size is the tank? are the cories all in different tanks? The first thing I'll say is that cories must be kept in groups of 3+ of their own kind, so presuming that each type of cory you already have are together in one tank then first off you should get at least one more peppered cory, as 2 isnt enough.

Hi,

Its a 54 gallon tank and all the Cories are together. My two Peppered Cories love to hang out with all there other friends and seem perfectly happy now. In the future I might decide to get one or two more Peppered.

I agree, the first step is to make sure you have the proper numbers of the species you have. Remember, the peppered cories like cooler water and the bronze (C. aeneus) like warmer water.

What cory are you talking about when you say "three-striped" cory?

Adofoi or Duplicareus has more color and Melini or Davidsansri [both are looks similar], Sterbai.

Those fish are more likely easy to find.

The Three-Striped Corie's latin name is Corydoras trilineatus. I know that Peppereds like cooler water.

So any suggestions one whats a good species to get other then the ones I have? I just can't decide.

I'd say pandas, only because they are my favorite cory <3! They are so playful and bouncy and fun!
