What Brand Of Salt

Hi,

I have just bought a ro unit (thanks to everyone for their help) and wondered which brand of salt people use and why?

How long before water changes do people mix the ro and salt?

D & D H2Ocean seems the most consistant salt

i use d&d instructions say 24 hours but normally i leave mine to mix for around 18 hours and never had a problem.

Sorry just seen second part of the question I leave mine mixinging a tank for at least 24 Hours

D&D here also ,
I mix for 24hrs + with a venture power head, which is good for keeping the salt particles suspended in the water Colum till they “mix melt in” the venture is also very good for getting large quantities of air into the mix for gas exchange and oxygenation ect
