What Are Your Favorite Dog Breeds?

my fav is german shepards as i have been bought up with them and they have bags of character plus they let people know they are in your house lol

In fact, I tend to like most grumpy animals,

me too newfoundlands, leobergers, border collie and english shepards and pappion ( i don't think it spell like this) ...they have a big heart lol

Rough Collies are my favorite, I also love Prembroke corgis and huskys. I saw what I think was a husky/ St. Binared mix that was every pretty and very very big.

Well I am biased and I have to say Shar-Pei or Chance would kick my butt...

As a dog groomer I dont like little dogs as they seem to be worse than big dogs but I have recently fallen for Shih-Tzus but I do prefer a more larger dog like Shar-Pei, Chow Chow, Bullmastiff etc but I do like Austrialian(sp?) Cattle dogs.

Honestly, boxer dogs? Believe it or not but there starting to a very popular dog in england!

Geez Esfa!!... He/she looks ancient and very, very loyal..... I started and ran the SPCA in a little village that I stayed in for almost 12 years.... My favourite has to be the labrador come retriever, but if it is looks (personality excluded), I'll go for the Afghan anytime... (lots of work though), and then also had a group of Siberian Huskies (Malamutes) in the kennels that really stole my heart.....

aww! he's a lurcher . Greyhound + Labrador.

He is! He's 15!

I also love Malamutes, someone i know has got four, and goes out with them on a chariot! haha

Ouch!!.... in my experience, the larger breeds has a shorter lifespan (12 to 14 years) and the smaller lot up to about 22/ 25..... So we're on our last legs, are we??

Not a dog though, but this is "Strepies" my cat.... She is 21 years old (The very first (stray/ferral) cat that I admitted to the Lime Acres SPCA in 1987.... (so she might just be a little older....)

he's getting very old now, sometimes finds it hard to move. Bless him
