What are you doing today?

And doing the check on all my chickens, my favorite one (the cuddliest chick) was injured it seems. She’s limping a lot, but has no visible leg injury. I’m afraid it’s a keel bone injury, what one of my other girls died from :(
I've had a rooster with something broken when the other roosters jumped him. I put him in a dog crate in a comfortable shed by himself, gave him fresh food and water and in about 3 weeks he healed. Can you isolate her in a secure warm location?

Oh no! I'm really sorry Juice... I hope she makes a quick recovery...

Sorry to hear about all the damage the storm caused...

She’s doing a lot better, think she sprained or bruised something. She was able to get into her roost alright though

Saw these two guys plus some other ones out of the picture on my small hike yesterday.

hope you dont have replace you furnace/boiler?..very expensive.
Boiler, our heating is pipes under the floors that hot water runs through

Me too! It’s the second time this has happened. We think it was caused by a power surge after the outage like last time :(

can you put a surge protector on the circuit for the next time? When we had hot water heat when I was a kid, it was run on natural gas I think

Ours is on diesel. The hot water heater is natural gas, but isn’t enough for the floors, just for laundry and showers and isn’t hooked up right now.
I’m not sure, I’ll see if we can do that

why isnt the hot water heated hooked up...I would think you need hot water every day

Because we use the boiler instead since it has a larger capacity:)

It’s either use both boiler for the floors and hot water heater for everything else, or use the boiler for everything, which is what we’ve been doing

playing vampire survivor, and tank maintenance

we get a lot of surges. I had one take out an aquarium light, a tv, a microwave, and I can't remember what else. It seemed to pick and choose on my appliances, new circuits fared better than old. I have all computer, stereo and tv equipment surge protected, I just kill the circuit in hvac equipment in winter and run on the woodstove. so far they haven't killed my breaker box

Don't know that game. Is it an RPG? Other than small simple games my genre is hack em up RPG such as Diablo 3, which I'm maxed out as to levels playing solo, And Middle Earth, Shadow of War which I am only in the early stages.
