What are doing for New Year Eve

I’m in Florida with my kids and grandkids. It’s off to the beach this morning and then to the children’s science museum where a ball will drop for children at noon. As usual us old folks will be in bed before the real ball drops.

Birthday today . Picked up a new 20L bucket from the LFS for a WC tomorrow and then Thai food later. Being in Florida does sound a tad better than what I did today

I'm going over to dinner with my wife's family. We'll probably be home before midnight, and I may even stay awake. No partying planned, although Matt's birthday may change that. I might have to dance like a river demon til 12:01 in his honour.

I'm making a huge "St-Jean Lake Meat-Pie" It's made with moose, Hare, Grey Partridge and Potatoes.

It takes 10 hours to cook and the house smell is giving me the munchies.

We will be spending the week and New Year's with my great-grand children who spend a week with us, on the ranch, while off school. 5 year old boy and 9 year old girl.

Taking things slow now... No rushing for me at the moment...

I'll make some elk sirloin tips with egg noodles and tequila lime sauce for our New year feast. Then we'll probably sit out in the yard by the fire, watching fireworks, singing, and talking over the past year until midnight comes or we get tired and decide to go to bed, whichever comes first.

I’m watching the Twilight Zone marathon, and grilling venison shish kebabs for supper- and very little else.
Christmas is a stressful holiday for me, so I use New Year’s to recover.
