Water changes...*cringe* I get to haul the equivilant of about 11 gallons of water down a terrifingly steep flight of stairs to the tub or garden. (depending on how dry it had been) Combine that with the fact the all 4 of my kitties love to sleep on stairs... yeah.... ) I swear, my critters all work against me when it's time for a water change.

The only one of my fish that gets fussy is my pleco. He'll go and hide behind the plants in the corner and will refuse to come out of it for a few days, even for a nice algea wafer. I feel so bad for giving him little fishy heart attacks.

My poor hose is covered in tape, apparently my cats think the fishy smell means tasty...and they know how to open the cabinet... too brilliant for my own good, they are
